Lackawanna Illuminated

Follow the lights and you can take a train out of here. Make the right connections and you can be anywhere you want to go in the hemisphere without leaving the ground. Manhattan swells in the distance, bursting out of the very horizon. The Hoboken Train station, humble, utilitarian, steadfast and competent on the other side of the river, providing transit for everyone other than the rich and famous. They got the gold but we got the numbers. Illuminated Lackawanna rising up in the machinery of night, barely visible footnote to the intense glitter of the Manhattan skyline, grant me passage either to an adventure or the way back to home.
